Ava Chanel Barnett-McKenzie

Ava Chanel Barnett-McKenzie is a Business Operations Intern at Tangent Technologies and a key part of the company’s future succession plan. As the granddaughter of CEO Ms. Gomez, Ava is gaining firsthand experience in business operations while preparing for future leadership within the company.

Ava is a high-achieving student-athlete and a proud member of the Langley High School Class of 2025. She has excelled in STEM subjects and has played a pivotal role in leading the Langley High School Lady Spartans to back-to-back state volleyball championships. She recently committed to the University of Mary Washington, where she will continue her academic journey and compete as a collegiate volleyball player.

With her strong leadership, discipline, and strategic mindset, Ava is well-positioned for success both on and off the court. Her ability to balance high-level athletics, academic excellence, and professional development demonstrates her drive and determination—qualities that will serve her well as she grows within Tangent Technologies.
